Help me help wheels fit
I have had so much trouble putting different wheels and tires on my truck. Currently I have an 1988 F150 Lariat. It has 15 inch wheels and tires. I since bought 16 inch sport truck TA's. And have not been able to find some wheels to fit without spending $1500 bucks for new ones. Then yesterday I bought what I thought would fit 17 inch chrome wheels and tires from a guy who has a 2002 Ford f150. They Dont quite fit. Now i have 2 sets of tires and a set of rims I cant use.
Is there some way i can change the roters and brake drums to a newer year so these tires and wheels fit? Is there someone out there willing to trade 17" rims from a 2002 F150 for 17" rims that will fit my lug pattern? Will someone please offer me a solution?
