KU pulled of a win over K-state this evening. I only caught the last 15 minutes but it was an exciting 15 minutes! After the game the students did the traditional "pulling down the goal post" thing. They were the collapsable kind and they didn't get them collapsed before the students got to them. Anyways part of them was thrown in Potters lake and a piece of another one ended up on Mass street. The students carried it down the middle of the street chanting and cheering until they got up beside my truck. Laid into the train horns and then it was just screams. The Police snuck up behind me on there bikes. Thought they were going to lay into me but they didn't say a thing. lol I followed the students down to the bridge where they threw what was left of the goal post into the Kansas River. By then there was a few more police there so I deceided it was time to split.
You ain't kidding man, I bet I heard it mentioned at least 20 times today!!! The neighbor even came over last night and asked if I watched the game. This sucks.
KU is doing pretty good this year and they may make it to one of the bowls
Duane, I don't know what kind of neighbor you got but if someone just came over and interrupted me to see if i watched the game...........I'd break their pinky.LOL
besides I know better than to go talk to her, my wife you have a fit!!! You should have seen the look on Lynn's face when she came to the door and asked for me So I avoid her like the plauge. lol.
