Cross Member Issues

I just put a 4 inch lift on my 92 f250. The front driveline hits the cross memeber for the transmission when the front end comes off the gound or when i put the truck on the lift. It seems like it doenst hit much but it does never the less. I am thinking of notching it out just a little. If i had a 6 inch lift it would hit all the time so im guessing theres something i can do. Please let me knwo if youve done it.

Is the x-member have a brace the runs to the top of the frame? My 150 did, i used a x-member out a 350. It used a diff way to hook to the frame. It wrapes under the frame and bolts to the out side of it. It made the clearing issue better.
