aluminum valve covers
funny you should ask that. I have been looking for the same thing. what I have found so far is, that you can get them in aluminum with the COBRA Le Mans on them from Ford Motor sports. also be advised they are stock height, the FMS covers are for stock rockers only! not the Harland sharp or the Erson units. they will hit. I just found that out to day from summit racing. now if you would like to look up Caroll Shelby Enterpriseis on your search engine and then go to the 427 FE part of the site. you will see a very beautifull thing. Shelby has made some reproduction covers with his name on them. and they are the tall covers to clear the after market rockers. here is the kicker. they are only 165.00 a set! I ordered mine to day. should be here by friday. they have the raised fins and Caroll Shelby logo cut in to them. out side of that I have found only one other posible supplier. a company that makes them in their machine shop. I think the name was Chicgago Machine INC. I can find it again if you are interrested. but be warned they are pricey. 400.00 dollars and up. on the other hand they can engrave any logo you wish in to the covers. HEY! I'm glad i could help some one. My wife will tell you that, Me and a computer together with a credit card. ITS A DANGEROUS THING. I don't get it wher she comin from? I could be at the bar swilin beer. but I aint. I'm at home swilin beer workin on the old tin can. yea man.
