Exclamation Quick Driveshaft Fix?

I have a 1989 F-150 Lariat 4x4 4spd I6. The other day I went to a junk yard to find a driveshaft cause I thought mine was bent. It is a slip-yoke driveshaft. When I took mine off it wasn't pushed all the way on at the splines. They told me that sometime or another the transfer case had been replaced and that was why the driveshaft was like that. It is about 1"1/2 to short. The transfer case that I have on it is a BorgWarner. The one that is suppost to be on it is a New Process. So that means I need a driveshaft Does anyone know where I can get one and does it have to be a Slip-yoke or can it be a standard. Any Idea's !

Most places will charge about a 100 bucks to lenghen the driveshaft. It is possible that something shifted in the rear end. Maybe a lift kit or not the right angle shims in the springs. I lengthened my F250 driveshaft at home about 1 inche because I added 2 inches of lift. No vibration whats so ever. Just make sure if you do it at home it is straight within a 32nd of an inch.
