05 Digital Odometer Display

05 Digital Odometer Display
I recently took delivery of a 2005 F250 Lariat, CC, Long Bed, 6.0 PSD, Auto, FX4.
The Odometer display seems odd to me, the center horizontal bar for the seven segment display doesn't light up in the center. The ends of the segment are illuminated but it is hard to make out if you have the number 8 or 0 showing in the display.
Has anyone else noticed this or is mine simply malfunctioning and I should take it back to the dealer?

another dismal attempt by Ford,,
my 2003 F250 odometer was very easy to read,, my 2005 F350 KR is in need of about three times the brightness to be very usefull during the day,,
Ford needed to make the unit about three times the size it presently is,,
think your unit is fine,, just the small size and low illumination is the problem,,

Royek, now that i've looked at mine a little closer, mine is the same way. It doesn't light up all the way across. I can read mine fine though, must be a new design. Other than that, how do you like your truck so far? I LOVE my 05 crew cab 250 4x4 diesel....best ford i've owned hands down!
