Well..we got the info we needed to make the decision to move to VA or not. We've decided not to go. The money just wasn't enough to justify the move. The cost of living there is considerably higher than here.
Personally, I would have loved to have gone. I need a change of scenery...LOL. But things work out that way.
Thanks everyone. That is one of the first things Loretta brought up was,"we wouldn't be able to hang out with the KS chapter people anymore."...LOL. She really likes everyone she's had the chance to meet. We've both made some great friends here.
I just really don't like KS or Wichita for that matter. I like scenery. Mountians, trees, rivers(not the brown kind) and nature stuff to do. We checked out the area in VA and we would have been about one hour away from boat trips to watch dolphins and whales swim. Now that is the coolest.
But now you guys have to deal with me for a while longer...LOL. I can live with that.
I've been there. Don't feel bad, it's good for about six months then you're bored again.
The cost of living on the east or west coast is through the roof - no question.
The population numbers might have also required an adjustment on your part. It's one of those things that if you went and lived there for 6 months to a year that you say "Kansas is a cool place to live."
