Newbie Intro.
Hello all. I'm new to the group. Bought a 74 f-100 a while back for $200.00
Love the truck 53k miles 360 engine. used to run great but lost power on long trips and made a lot of lifter clatter? I live in Arzona but came to Ks. to help parents out while dad recovers from knee replacement. My friend who dropped me off at airport in phx. called and told me truck died while driving home won't restart, oil everywhere. Had to leave it on side of road and it got impounded.
I bailed truck out of impound, easier said than done when you are out of state.
So I've been checking this site for info on rebuilds, replacements, ect.
Great info, excellent family atmosphere, cool people.
