Another 5.4 missing
Well, here is another one, I have a 2001 S/C with 5.4, the other day it started missing like crazy under a load while driving in overdrive. Check engine light finally came on, pulled codes, had lean bank codes on #1,2,7,8. Pulled all coils and boots, found water in every plug area and rusted plugs. Replaced all plugs and boots, still missing. Pulled codes again after driving, #2 misfire. Replaced coil from Autozone, still missing, pulled my hair out for 2 days, decided to try another coil from discount auto, runs great now. Autozone sold me a bad coil, I'm sure not on purpose, but wanted to let everyone know in case they have the same problem.
Yet, of course...
