This guy at work swears up and down that he has a C6 that is bolted to a 302. He says that "it is a small C6". It is my understanding that the C6 only fits the "big" blocks. Is he be correct?
I have a c6 in my bronco It was hooked up to a 351w. They do have them for small and big blocks. Little tidbit of info here. Did you know that bigfoot runs a c6.
my grandpa worked in sharronville where they made the C6 and we also had a 1988 F150 with a 351 and a C6. the C6 is used in alot of high performance applications. alot of drag cars use them as well. it was a tough trans.
dont forget the ol'FE, they had a c6 for them as well. wasnt the old deisels the same as a460 bell?? just wanderin never messed with any other than gas.
Yeah the diesel and 460 use the same bell pattern but the trannys use different starter mounting for the diesel, so I am told. I have a C6 behind my 351W/5.8L too.
