OK, I'm new at this so this might be a incredibly stupid question but here it is anyway. What makes a "High Boy" different from another 4x4 of the same vintage? I have a '72 4x4 and was told it was a high boy. Is there something in the vin# that designates it as such or something in the suspension I should look for?
If ya have been on these boards as long as I have, it's extreemly rare to see a completely new one, and many are like ol family members that you grew up with.
I wish people would know the difference between an F-100 and an F-150. The F-150 started in 75 as a 2wd and then 76 as a 4wd. I believe that the F-100 ended about 83 or 84.
Yup, the last year for the F-100 was '83. Man what an old thread, and the sad part is, some people still don't know if their truck is a "Hiboy" or not!!! (Just take a look in the 73-79 forum)
