track bar bushing removal trick
I wanted to replace the worn track bar bushings on a 79 bronco 4x4 and I dont have access to a press. the new ones are 2 peices so you just slide em in ,but you need a press or a torch to get the old bushings out, which I didnt have. After many attempts and methods (that all failed and just frustrated me further) I dug out my cheapo pitman arm puller,stuck a 17mm 3/8 drive socket on the end and used it as a press to push the bushings out....worked perfectly!
