I have recently purchased a 1990 bronco II and have been replacing missing pieces to get it back to original and am trying to find the rear cover or awning type thing thing that clips in to cover the hatch space. I went to the dealer and found that the part has been discontinued and basically I do not no where to find one. Have not found any salvage yards with any yet. If anyone knows where I can get one Or if there are any aftermarket companies that make them I would appreciate any information. Thanks.
Heres some useful information if any one needs it or doesn't know. If you have an 89 to last model bronco II with bucket seats and the center column with the armrest Ford makes a replacement bracket for the armrest if it is broken. It has steel reinforcements and costs I think about $40 but am not sure any more. Just thought that might be useful if anyone has had the same problems as I have had.
Damn i wish i new you needed parts... my 89' Bronco 2 was wrote off a few months ago, the insurance company took it but i new where it was, it was in real good shap except driverside front corner....and i had a mint soft cover for the rear storage area.... well keep tryin the wreckers ones bound to show up, if you see a Bronco 2 sittin around rustin in a yard stop and ask if they got one ?? might be worht a try...
Hope this helped

what color do you need? how bad do you need it, read $$$. I know where one is (not mine by the way) but they wanted $75 bucks for it. I'm looking for a blue one or even a broken blue one. I have 98% of the parts for mine just need a cosmetic part to put it back on the road with the rest of the truck.

North Central Towing in Thompson, Manitoba has (had?) a red one from a red '88/'89. (214)-788-7200 The truck was in nice shape until it rolled; no glass or tire carrier. Canadian dollar is worth US 65¢ or so, but Thompson is a long way from almost everywhere. It would seem red ones are hard to find, right?
