Day-time running lights

i have a 93 ranger xlt 3.0, problem is my day-time running lights flicker or flash, i dont notice this happening all the time just every now and then, anyones opinion would be great except telling me to turn my full lighting system on, thanks

well i dont know if you ould want to do this or not, you may not be able to legally, (im guessing from your name you are in canada, dont know about the law there) anyway, if you dont want D R L anyway, you may be able to pull a fuse that controls only that, i did that to a pontiac montana i once had. aside from that, id check for a loose/bad ground wire. it may be easier to run a new wire from ground (or hot, could be that lead also) then it would be finding the open spot in the wiring. good luck! I'm think the module might be going bad, I believe the module delivers a pulsed voltage to the lights, might be able to grab one at a junkyard cheap.

The module would be my bet - it's a few inches away from the radiator on the drivers side. I got one from a junk yard.

How can you tell if your truck has drl? My 2000 XLT Sport S/C 3.0 has everything else, but in checking to see if there is any lights, the only thing I see lit up is the background on the switch. Any hints?
