How much are you charging for the hunts? I'm in the Houston area, but travel to Tyler several times a year. I'd love to come up there and help you take care of the problem.
Thanks.

To get rid of the hogs, you gonna have to do more than have people hunt them every once in a while. I suggest getting a couple of pig traps and keep them going whenever you are there. If you feel bad about killing the pigs and not eating them, donate the meat to hunters for the poor or give it to shops in China town, they love pig parts.

That's true.
But, this year I'm working 14 hours a day, 6 and 7 days a week. This is the only year that I've not been able to take care of them.
My sons live elsewhere now and can't come down, so I'm down to this.
Just thought someone might want to add to their hunt - or might get time to stop by now and then.
I know it's a long shot, but you never know...

And as far as the river bottoms, certain rules apply when hunting on these public lands, but it's not that bad. You can hunt on my land and just step over the fence onto public land. But, we will need to set a schedule.
Just give TPWD a call at (800) 792-1112 to get the info needed for public land hunting around the Thomas Lake region.
