2000 E250 Help! Quick response needed!

I have just purchased a 2000 model E250 Regency conversion to pull my travel trailer with. It has the pigtail at the rear of the van to plug in a 4-way and there is *supposed* to be another pigtail further up the frame to add trailer brakes, 12v hot, etc. I can't find the 2nd pigtail AND I can't find the plug under the dash for the brake control..... Did perchance Ford screw me on this one and it's NOT pre-wired??? At 4:00 this afternoon (central time) I'm handing over to a shop to do the wiring for me.... I have no lift and can't get under the van. I plan on helping the guy wire it, so any and all help you can give me will be much appreciated! I plan on hitching up and heading to the Smokies early Saturday morning and it ain't gonna be no fun with no brakes and trailer lights!!!!

Did this van come pre-wired? Any other places to look for the harness?

Thanks a bunch!

Hal

Hey! Got it done! Wasn't nearly as tough once we got it up on a rack and didn't have to crawl under it!

For future reference, the 2000 E250 is NOT wired at the dash for a brake control but the 4 way pigtail at the back of the van is hot. No additional plug for brake controls or constant hot, but easy enough to wire. The key is getting to it!

Thanks anyway!

All,

I second the factory tow package wiring, at least as regards new (mine's a 2003) vans. All the wiring's there...
