Pulling the engine

I have a fairly bad oil leak as well as a cracked exhaust manifold. I would like to pull the engine and do the work in my garage. How difficult is it to pull. It is an 89 F-150 with a 302 and 4-speed T-18 trans.

Thanks

It's an awful lot of work just to fix an oil leak and replace a manifold. Have you considered doing the work while the motor's in the truck?

Yes, my original thought was to do everything with the motor in the truck. I was just wondering how much work it might be to pull the engine. I will probably just leave the motor in and do it that way.

Thanks,

Denis

Pulling the motor is a piece of cake like said above. I pulled mine and didnr label anything. With the FORD conectors you would be hard pressed to cross them up, although pics are very good for a refrence
