Couple questions

LAST EDITED ON 28-May-01 AT 01:23 PM (EST)[p]My 85 BII has some rust on it not alot on the body but it has a spot where it rusted through in the back in the inside so when it rains my carpet gets wet and my interior panals too but that could be fiberglassed right? i already know the 4.0 and a4ld from the newer rangers will work but what kind of mileage could i expect from it? hopefully better than my 10mpg with my 2.8, Would i be able to swap the front end from a 89 up ranger to my 85? are the doors swapable too? i am sick of wing windows all they are is something else that could go wrong, is the rest of the interior interchangable? like the dash seats and everything else? or should i just sell my 85 BII and get a newer one? one other thing how could i make my BII more stable with almost rolling it twice and having both front and rear anti sway bars on it, i know i could lower it and put wide tires on it but is there anything else i could do?

Thanks
Curtis

Couple questions

First make sure your shocks are good I have come close to roling mone once or twice the 85 bII will do about 45 yadrs on 2 tires

second <a href="http://www.jamesduff.com">www.jamesduff.com</a>

get the dual shock upgrade for the front end will cut the body role done lots they have tones of great stuff here
and stuff that no one else has I love my 85 b2 and I would say
most of the part yo metions are changeable
you will also find 4.0 liter info at jamesduff.com
and as for you 10 mpg 2.8 tune that up I get like 17 or better
with mine granted it is almost all new now rebuilt carb/engine new rad new clutch rebuilt trany and the dash I'm not to sure about most for seat should fit the b2 interior from 83 - 89 didn't change much it should all go no porblem I would sugest
if you can put a 2.9 out of a 86 b2 in it they are great on gas
or a little dual plug 2.3 out of the 91 ranger that engine will
go for ever on 2 drops of gas like 30 mpg
