2 bolt main question?

I am changing to a rear sump oil pan and have to bolt in a new pickup tube which means I must replace on of the main bolts with a new bolt/nut arrangement which the tube fasten's to. I have the new bolt but am missing the nut. Do I have to use any type of locktite on the bolt or do I just torque it down to 95-105 Ft. lbs? Also, can I use a nyloc nut for attach the tube with?

Thanks,

just torque it to specs. you can use a locking nut, but if you torque it you wont have a problem.

Don't use loc tite in an engine. The heat greatly reduces its effectivness, the next time you take your engine apart your threads will be all gumed up, and it may effect the torque values. Some locking nuts are OK but do not use a nyloc nut. The nylon in the nut will melt and will breakdown in the long-term presence of oil.
