flat bed problems
I'm putting a 7.5 ft wide flatbed on my F350 std. wheel base dually and I'm having trouble trying to figure out the best way to put fuel tank filler necks on this thing. There's just not hardly any fall when the bed is that wide, unless you have it up to the moon or there of. Does anyone have any suggestion?

We had the same prob on our 93 f-250 at work. It too had a wide bed and almost kinked the hose when I mounted the bed. I finnally just broke down and fabricated a fuel door into the floor of the bed about 6" in from the side. Looks funny and you can't fill er up with a load on it but hey, it's better than spending an hour at the pumps to get 10 gal. in it lol.

I have the same problem my deck is 8' wide but I have a block of wood I pack around with me its a 4x4 about 16-18" long I drive the rear tire up on to. This gives me enough slope and the fuel runs in anybody with a flatdeck or a E series cube van does the same just a fact of life. You can modify the fuel fill hose so its short and its close to the frame rail of the truck but you have to climb under the truck all the time.
