352. We Have A T-case Comeing Monday That Were Going To Try, Lets Hope For The Best ,but Any Other Ideas Would Be Great!!
Thanks. Gpa
That was going to be my next suggestion. If that doesn't solve the problem, I'd drop the tranny and go through it to make sure it isn't busted. Then again, what do I know
Dphillips And Slayer.
The Driveshaft Angles Are As They Were Stock, and We Have Raised And Lowered The T-case And It Hasnt Changed A Thing, So Were Hopeing Monday We Can Change The T-case And See If It Fixes It. Sure Hope So, Tired Of Messing With This One!!
Once Again, Thanks For The Input.i'll Keep You All Posted Of The Results.

The short shaft has a slip joint in it right? Is it phased right? That is to say if you looked at the shaft sideways and you look at the u-joint cupson the welded end of the shaft are at 3 and 9 o-clock the front slip joint should be in the same locals. It's comon to miss that or to have them 90 out.
Did you change the bushing in the tail shaft of the C6? if not you might try that there not expencive but can shake like heck.
1. your slip joints can be 180 degrees out. they are odd number splined, and this will cause them to be a a couple of degrees out of phase. Hard to see, nearly imposable to tell just looking at it under the truck.
2. what is your driveline angle? Are the axles slanted more than 15 degrees? If so, do you have double cardian style joints at the transfercase end?
Devorced transfercases are prone to shaking. when in 2wd, they act like a joint in between the short shaft, and the driveshaft. Those two shafts have to be timed together to avoid vibrations. The problem is, once you shift into low, you lose the timing between the shafts, and have to manualy rotate them back in later. If the truck is lifted, with higher drive line angles, you will notice this more. there realy is no absolute cure, but you can build a much beefier mount with cross bracing to the frame and it will help.
We had a fan clutch going out and would send a hell of a vibration. Found it by being under the van with it running and saw it take the tilt. i thought the whole driveline was screwed cause it wouldn't happen when idling.

The U-joints Are Perfectly Aligned, the Driveshaft Angles Were As Stock, And We Have Changed Angles By Moveing T-case Up And Down Just To See If It Changed Anything And It Didnt.
The Fan Is Direct Drive Without A Clutch, and Were Supposed To Have Another T-case Tomorow, So I Will Post Results After Installing It.
Thanks Again. Gpa

Ya The Driveshaft Yokes Are Phased Correctly, theres Enough Lenght Left In Slip Yoke And It Runs With No Run-out In The Truck. We Havent Changed The Bushing In The Trans But It Seems Tight,we May Change It Just To Eliminate That Possibility. Thanks For The Input, man We Have Tried Everything With No Change.its Getting To The Point Of Seeing How Flamable This Thing Is!!! Not Realy, this Guy Loves This Truck.
Thanks,gpa
