header problems
I have an 86 f150 4x4 with a 351 windsor. i bought a set of dynomax long tube headers I think the part# is 85115 anyway when I put them in the driver side header collector rubs on the tranny pan. I called dynomax and they said it was probably just a defective header and to take it back and get a new set. So I was just wondering if any of you have had this problem with these headers, cause I really dont feel like putting in the other set if its a design flaw and not just one defective header.

That would be a defecive header, but if they are the cheap headers from dynomax, i've of people having problems with clearence between the frame and header as well, but i would go ahead and take it back and get some new ones.

I agree with mustange70.....send em back!
Dynomax knows how to make headers and how to make them fit your application. Heck, they will custom fit and install them for you if you have deep pockets.
The point is, make them get it right!
