I get 15 around town and 18-20 on the highway unloaded. I get 15 pulling my boat. Do a search on mileage, get some snacks and do some reading.

I recently got a May '04 truck and have gotten 15+ city. Pretty much stop and go, 40 miles a day to & from work. If you keep the RPMs under 2k you will see better MPGs.

Most say 10-12mpg towing.....and 14-16mpg just driving around town.....and 16-18mpg on the hyw....these are average.....some get better, and some worse.....mine get about 17.6hyw.....and about 14 in town.....would be better in town but that damn Predator makes me do....

bad things....very bad things. Tim

There are many variables that contribute to fuel economy. Mine is all over the map.

And if that is not enough
…. In the upper right hand corner of your screen check this out PARTS SHOP for all your “trucking” needs

Not looking to start an oil war-
When I switched to synthetic oil, my mpg went up about .6 unloaded (15.8 mpg avg) and up .9 towing (12.7 mpg) 7,400 lb boat. Currently at 39,268 miles.

Roadtrips are generally 17.4-17.6 mpg going 80-85 mph. This is operating above 4,200 ft elevation as that is the water level of the Great Salt Lake. Best was 20.2 mpg on a 900 mile trip in 106-111 degree heat. This truck has exceeded my expectations in every category: Especially when I run against my buddy with the 04 Dodge 600 Cummins...
It exceeds his expectations too
