HELP!!!!! I have an 86 Bronco II that is having a problem. When I drive it on the freeway at high speeds, 70 - 75 mph (our freeway goes to 75mph) it starts to crap out on me. It will loose power & when I step on the gas again it picks back up. It will do it with a jerk sometimes. It does it constantly until I get back to lower speeds around 40 to 45 mph. We have replaced the computer & both fuel filters. We don't know if it could be the fuel injectors, fuel pumps or the coil pick up. Can someone help me. I love my Bronco & want to keep it running.
Apistol, it could be your MAF (or speed density) sensor, located between air box and throttle body. These get dirty and can cause problem you describe.

Thank you so much for the info. We did replace the regulator, but the problem was the throttle sensor. The wires were fried & when we replaced it, it fixed the problem.
