Okay, one more question
I have one more question about the Auto hubs on my '86 Broncho II. All winter long, they worked great when you just pushed the buttons. As soon as winter was over, it seemed like I started having problems with the 4low engaging itself when I made a sharp turn or went in reverse. The lights are off on my panel and everything, but it just seems to engage itself and make that horrible noise like I have a flat tire. Sometimes it smells like burnt rubber, too. My gas mileage is terrible now, too. It feels like something is keeping the motor from going too well. Any suggestions would be appreciated!! I need my 4wd by winter. Angel

Okay, one more question
The first thing I'd do, would be replace the bulbs so you know when the 4WD is engaged. Then I'd check the hubs, if they've been off recently they make have been re-installed incorrectly. If that's OK you only have the transfer case and the push button 4X4-Low Range unit left. I personally think the push button unit would be to blame, provided the transfer case has enough lube.

Okay, one more question
I know the bulbs work on it, because I've engaged it recently and disengaged it to see if that would help. So far, so good. I'll be sure to check the gear box and the push button unit. I have to have this truck over the winter, and it has to work!! Thanks for the info. Angel
