Water leaking into engine compartment.

I currently own a 1978 F-350 sporting a 400. After it rains I notice that water collects inside the air cleaner and carburetor. Is there supposed to be some type of weatherstripping or rubber to close the gap between the hood and the body, if not...any ideas on how I can stop this from happening? Any help is appreciated.

Bryan

There is a weather strip that runs between the hood and cab. Some people say it doesn't stay attached, but I can't say personally as mine is missing.

Cowl Seal Lacing...

There is a rubber seal that goes where the hood meets the cowl and is held in by push-in pins. Called a cowl to hood seal. They are available @ LMC...
