removing a 351w

i have an 87 f-250, and the 351 that is in it died, i have another motor to go in it, but it has been a number of years since i removed this one. i am not too familiar if the torque converter has to be unbolted from the motor in order for it to come out, or can the converter come out with the motor. i have a cherry picker with leveler on it, so that will make it easier. but aside from the usual removal parts, like radiator, ps pump, alt, and ac compressor, is there anything i should look out for? and aside from the motor mounts, and bell housing bolts, are there anymore that have to come off? thanks in advance for any help!

It's much cleaner if you unbolt the converter first. Remove the inspection cover, bump the engine over to remove the 4 converter. It's not bad if you have a remote starter switch or somebody else to help.
