Put on a PA 3" lift, 33 BFG's. What a difference. A word about "what tire will fit my truck"- this is a 99 Ranger XLT, Off Road Package with Bilstein OEM's at each corner. I added the Performance Accessories 3" Body Lift and was able to fit 33's without the torsion mod, with plenty of room to spare.
I just purchased a 3" Body Lift kit for my '98 Ranger 4.0L XLT Stepside 5speed. I'm wondering what kind of issues your ran into installing this? Any tricks or anything I need to know?
What size tires should I be able to fit on the stock rims after the lift? 31" or 33", how wide?
Looks good. I think you could use some steps or something on the side to hide the frame a little, maybe some black wireloom over the parking brake cable so it doesn't stand out so much. Lastly, some gap guards in the back so you don't see the gap between the bed and frame.
One question though, what gears are you running in your differentials?
