new shock installation ?

I will be installing new monroe shocks on my 99 f250 psd 4x4 tonight. Does anyone have any words of wisdom for me??? All comments are appreciated

I have 00 x psd, I replaced all four with Bilstien shocks, now I'm thinking of installing air ride suspension (if there is such thing.) Is this the feed back you are looking for?

I put adjustable Rancho RSX 9000s on last spring. Use some WD40 or liquid wrench to loosen up the bolts first. If you have access to an air wrench, makes it a snap. Go for it!

Was thinking about changing mine, truck has 105xxx on her. Should I jack it up or leave weight on wheels. If I jack it, should I jack under axle to compress shock, or under frame to expand shock??

when i changed mine, i didnt jack it up, just put it on level ground and it was fine. i agree with akpwrstrk, if you have air tools, use them saves time.
