'93 Explorer, Slight Hesitation

My 1993, 225,000+ mile Explorer starts fine, but then after the 1st and sometimes second complete stop, it hesitates slightly. The engine doesn't stop, it just hesitates like it is about to stop, but then everything is fine.

If by hesitation, you mean engine seems as if it is going to die out, then you probably have a sitcking IAC valve. See the sticky link at top of Explorer page on IAC cleaning.
If you mean the engine stumbles / hesitates on accelerating from a stop, then you may have a dirty MAF (mass air flow) sensor or a dead spot in your TPS (throttle position) sensor.
