My 75 crewcab has a dual tank selector valve under the truck on the drivers side . Does anyone know if Ford still makes this , or whare I could get a replacement?
I'm looking for the same thing for my 79 F-350. When I switch from the back tank to the front tank, my fuel gauge switches but I still draw from the rear tank.
I called the Ford dealer and they said I would have to come in and he would check their microfilm for the part number, but he said he was sure he could get it if I needed it. I have no idea what the price will be. Just thought you would like to know.
I tried at my local auto parts store to get one. They were suppose to be available from Standard. I still haven't gotten one (Back Ordered?) so I'm going to have to look elsewhere.
This has been covered before many moons ago. Ford still should be able to get it but its around 80 bucks. There is a generic one that is the same as the factory one with the exception of the mounting hole on the valve, which I think you just drill out larger. It can be got from jc whitney for sure and probable others. It runs about $35.
