Problem Power Lock and Window
Ok here's the deal, I have a 90 B2- Manual 2WD. I got it about 4 months ago, and I love it to death. I've already had to do some maintenance, which I've been told is common to the vehicle, such as replacing the clutch pressure plate, clutch disc, throw-out bearing, and alternator(which I knew would go bad when I changed to a CD Player). Anyway, after all of this, my driver side door won't lock. I've been informed that it's the power lock actuator that is causing the problem, and also that the part has been discontinued, aka not made any more. Also, my power window switch on the driver side doesn't want to work unless I have the door open 3/4. The lock switch works fine, but to no avail the window switches won't work unless I open the door. Please help!! Oh yeah, can anybody tell me how I can put a regular drive shaft in to replace the cardan type jointed drive shaft, and cheaply??

Problem Power Lock and Window
You have broken wires in between the door and the body where the wires bend as the door is opened.

As far as the actuator goes, they're not discontinued around here. We're in Indiana. You could even check with a junkyard on that one. Our '90 B2 has the same problem with it. I'm not sure about the driveshaft question, but I do know that ours went out, and we replaced it with one from an '85 B2. Good luck! Angel
