Where does the gas line go into the carberator on an F 250 5.8 liter engine. Our truck won't start. Gas is coming from gas tank to filter & up to motor but where does the line go from there Any help would be appreciated .
When it goes up to the engine it goes right into the fuel rails for the injectors.
Out of idol curiosity, did the truck just stop running or spit and sputter. Do you have spark? JMO but I'm willing to bet your ignition module bit the dust.
Hi;
We did finally get going but are having another problem. We have a new gas tank and pump. There is power but the truck just won't start. We have been having some wiring problems would that cause it not to start or is there something wrong with the gas line? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!!
I also have an '89 F250 5.8 EFI 4x4 dual tank. The truck just abruptly stopped running. I don't hear the in-tank fuel pumps when I turn the ignition key to ON.
I relaced the fuel pump relay. It was OEM green. No change. The engine cranks, but its like I'm out of gas. I replaced both tanks and in-tank fuel pumps. I didn't see an in-line fuel filter between the gas tanks and the high pressure fule pump. The dealer said there is one but couldn't locate it for me. Can you tell me where it is?
