Leaking Seal
The seal at the aft end of my transmission where it meets the drive shaft has been replaced three different times now and continues to leak. The local dealer ship tells me everything else is in spec. and the installation was performed in accordance with the manual. The leak is very minor, but a leak none the less. It's a '96 F250 2wd. Any thoughts?

leaking seal or leaky dealer
Hey Daffy, is that a flange mount or a slip joint with the yoke? If it's a slip joint did the dealer replace the bushing? Is the seal area smooth and polished without any scars or deep scratches or rust pitted areas. The dealer sounds like they do crappy work in my book. Carl........o&o>.........
