Cheap headers

A person I know says that some of the mustangs w/ 6 cylinders come with stock headers that will fit on my 2.9L. He says he knows someone about to trash a set due to upgrade. Before I do anything, I wanted to know if anyone else has heard of this? or am I wasting my time?
