upper control arm bushes
Heres my way of replacing the passanger side upper control arm bushes that my book tell's me are a none servicable item, BS you can buy the bushes from discount autos (TRW part #12348). Raise van remove road wheel, place a jack under bottom control arm and lift until the top arm is clear of the bump stop, undo pinch bolt and lift top arm away from spindle, place another jack under the front crossmember and just take weight on jack, mark position of control arm against the bush housing and the bush housings on the front rail, now undo and remove all the bolts holding the bush housings they are not easy to get out but believe me it can be done you must remove the back one first then the next in line and so on you have to wriggle them about a bit but there is just enough room to get them out, once out you can knock out the old bushes and fit the new ones easly. And then just put back in reverse order, make sure you put the washers from the bolts onto the bushes housings first other wise you wont be able to get the bolts in place, and don't slip off the wrench and smash your finger like I did (ooch).
