On my 89, it is on the drivers side behind the drivers seat. There is a small pull out panel on the side that hides the module. On a 88 Ranger I bought for parts, it was under the dash behind the radio. Hope this helps.
Same here on my ld 89' Bronco 2 it was behind the drivers seat in the panel... if your lookin for the reset button it glows red well mine did but when pushed it didnt do a damn thing.....

LAST EDITED ON 17-Oct-01 AT 09:45 PM (EST)[p]I have an 88, the module is located under the panel on top of the dash, just right of center. I lost the push button 4 wheel and low range functions. I got some advice on testing and the red light, but was unable to get the module to test. I swapped modules with the same results. If you are experiencing similar problems and find the solution, I would definitely be interested. Just as a thought, I was advised the electric motor that activates the mechanics for these functions often goes bad.
