Door Lock Button by Liftgate
I have a 98 Explorer. There is a door lock and unlock button in rear by the liftgate. This is a great feature since I can lock all the doors after unloading the back. I was looking at purchasing an Expedition and noticed that none of the Ford SUVs have this anymore. Anyone know why?

To save a few bucks I suppose is one reason, but another is that they often had problems with cargo and water damage to the switch. Many people never used them so I guess its a toss up whether it is missed much since you can also lock it with your remote. I suppose you can always rig one yourself.
