Question 302 EGR Problems After Being Fixed

Ok guys, I have a 1989 Lincoln Town Car with the 302 engine. A while back I had problems with it not wanting to run when it was cold. It would either die at idle or surge. So I took it in to the shop and they hooked it up to the computer. The code came back saying that the EGR Valve Position Sensor was bad so I had it replaced. That didn't fix it, so we put on a new EGR valve. After that, for a little while anyway, it ran great and started in the mornings just fine. Well a few months ago, the check engine light came on and now it is back to the way it was before. Even worse. It won't run in the morning and it jerks at highway speeds. I bought a code reader at Wal-Mart and hooked it up and it came back with two codes. One was for the intake air temperature sensor, which I replaced. That fixed that problem. The other code was number 32 O,R,C. In the description, it says that the EVP (EGR valve position sensor or circuit) voltage is low (SONIC) or EPT circuit voltage is low (PFE- Pressure Feedback Sensor or its circuit). Can someone tell me what this exactly means. Do you think that the new EVP sensor could be bad or could it be something else. Any help would be greatly appreciated Thanks Braxton

I'll give you the best advice about EGR that I was given - TAKE IT OUT! It's such a pain, and if you've had an emissions test and you're not planning on moving, I would seriously just remove the egr system. It just causes more problems if its there. But as far as trying to help you FIX it, i can't help you there. Sorry! Good luck!
