thermostat question
some body told me to leave out the little check ball in the thermostat housing. does this sound right to yall?is this a bleeder or what?what happens if it gets stuck?thanks guys,Kevin.

If you leave it out, it will be constantly flowing water into the radiator and may never even warm up in cold weather, at a light load. If it is stuck the only problem you will have is difficulty burping the engine when changing the coolant, which can be corrected by loosening the top heater hose, or even better the advance sensor on the front passenger side top of the engine to let the air out.
