I have a 79 Trailer Special and I would like to add sway bars and/end links on.Can this be done semi cheap?I have coils at front and leafs in the back.
I figure 200-300$,but it looks like a custom set up as sway bars didn't come on the truck.Just want to bolt them on and not have to make brackets.Anything can be done with time and money. If there is a easy way, great. If not, well on to the next project..........
I just put front and rear Hellwig sway bars on my 75 2WD F250. They were easy to install, and work great. A little pricey though, but when I put the camper on it, they are worth every penny!
When I opened the box, I thought they looked kinda cheezy, the bars are kinda rough, but are painted black and the brackets clamp on to the frame, but with a couple thousand miles on them, they are holding up great and it drives like a new truck.
