I use atleast two , #1- a cheapo foam that is really soft, then #2 a down feather real firm that my grandmother made around 60 years ago. If you are going to buy a down pillow go real expensive as the cheaper ones tend to be junk. Then have the down pillow cleaned by a professional pillow cleaner every couple of years. I haven't priced down pillows lately but, I think the last time I looked they were over $100 for a decent one. Money well spent.

Its gotta be large as in height and over time you have to fold it over and add an arm under it.

I've had nerve problems in shoulder since i was kid, so soft pillows never made it. So my Chiropractor suggested Buckwheat filled pillow , nerve problem will never go away it has gotten better though i don't wakeup with hands tingling as much.

Hey I think I have the same thing as you. Ive gone to a massuese and to no avial. Been like this for a little over a year now, never gone away. I either lay on my other shoulder or I need a "tall" pillow as not to put so much wieght on it. I know its nerves cause I get sharp pains down my arm if I lean on it wrong or pretty much do anything with it to an exent. At times its worse than others. But theres a reason to my rambling ....I cant figure out WHY I have this problem, do you know why you have it? What can cause it to do this? Sorry if this causes this thread to get off topic, not tryin to but I have finally found another person with what sounds liek the same problem lol.

It was 1968, I was eight years old riding in the back seat of the family Rambler my mother was driving when we were broadsided by some guy on side I was sitting. Good thing it was build like a tank it would've been more then a mild case of whiplash, but still has some lasting effects though. My father was none too happy he loved that car bought it the same day i born.

I like two pillows, a semi firm thick one on the bottom and a soft fluffy one on top.

I like a good fluffy pillow, but they always end up flat as a pancake within a month or so.

I guess as long as I have something under my head I'll be fine.
