Likewise, I do that as well.
Like Kwikkordead, I think 2000 is the best year, but I would be more concerned about service record and condition of the vehicle than the year of the vehicle esp. if price is a factor.

Well I for one like the looks of the newer trucks better. In comparison to the 94-97 years the newer ones look just that much more rugged. All business.
But then beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Yea, I'll do that too driving through town sometimes. But every imbicile that works at a drive through place pretends he can't hear me until I shut down. But your'e right , I do like that rac, rac, rac, rac, rac, rac, rac, idle.

You got it Kwik if we all had the same taste it would be a borng world and we wouldnt have Duracrap riceburners to snicker at.

I also got to admit that the new body style is beginning to become more acceptable in my eyes (blush). I cant believe I said that in public.

I was always a Chevy guy in the past but when I worked on the pipeline all we had to use was Ford. I was very impressed with the way they held up to the continuous abuse so I decided to buy a Ford, but I decided that I wouldn't buy one unless I could get a newer body style. To me, that's what a truck should look like.
