Tranny swap

( I moved this from another forum hoping you guys could help me out better ) I have a 76 f-250 4x4 with a 390 and a New Process 435 4 speed manual and would like to swap to a possible c6 out of a 73 f-250 4x2 with a 390 (F25HRQxxxxx) could this possibly be the ultimate bolt off - bolt on swap or am I living a pipe dream? Trans code is a G. Another thing the axle code is 38J <--- any ideas ? Thanx in advance. P.S. if anyone had some pictures of the underside of a 4x4 with a 390 and a C6 could you possibly send them to me

going from manual to automatic is much easier then the other way around, the manual has a few extra parts in it than the auto, it is mostly and bolt off bolt on opration, you need to change the flywheel, and the started, also the pedals are different, if you don't mind the extra pedal in there than you be fine else you'll need a automatic pedal set. also the othe thig is you'll need to run some vacume lines, but all the openings for that should be on the engine and carb, just pluged up
