Missing PS pump for bendix.

Elemint, from what i've seen the pump for a Bendix box is the same as for a Ford box. This is in trucks from 68-72.The pressure relief spring is the same also. I haven't found a "Saginaw" box in my travels in the "Pick Your Parts", "Pick-N-Pull" or the standard "Wreckers" You stated the hoses are missing, is dirt getting in the steering box? Good luck with the Bendix box as mine started to leak with only 42,000 miles and good condition inside. Now i have a Ford box in the truck and a Bendix box looking for a new home. Carl.

Bendix power steering box, arm and seal kits
epos48, the Ford box is 2" plus longer. To run a Ford box you have to replace the steering column that is shorter on 69 up years with Ford boxes. The Bendix power steering box is a straight swap with the manual box for the older truck conversions like yours. The pitman may be different on the manual box vs Bendix power ( i may be wrong). I just removed a Bendix power box as stated above with only 43,000 miles with pitman arm and almost two seal kits from Ford less the imput seals. This box has new bushings installed even though the old ones were good because i had them before the box was rebuilt. The rack piston bore is like a mirror inside, no scores.Rebuild shops want $150 core charge, i was told they are rare. The pumps are common and easy to get at the wreckers as well as the mount. Pump seal kits are cheap and the pump is easy to rebuild. A pulley puller is a must have or borrow item. My box with pitman arm and two extra Ford seal kits minus the imput seals in the kits is available for $100 plus app $25 shipping. Carl.....o&o>......
