Fixed AC vacuum leak
98 F-150 V-8
My ac suddenly began blowing from the defrost. I found that the vacuum tube behind the battery which goes into the firewall was broken. Apparently, a build-up of battery acid on the terminals got on the vacuum tubing right where the tubing curved. That's where it cracked. Less than a $2.00 fix at the parts store.
Going without AC in Texas is brutal!
