dome light out
I have a 1998 f-150 super cab . The dome light is out thus my alarm on the doors won't work either . The switch on the cap in the back works just fine . As do the switch under the hood . The alarm goes off when they are opened , and it rearms itsefl . Just like it should .
I have checked all the fuses and found zip . They are all good . Bulb is good , just can't find the dome light circiut to check or repair it . HELP!!!!!

If I'm not mistaken there should be a little black box underneath the dash by the steering wheel. That box is the relay that activates the dome lights and door alarms. That box could have gone bad. This is how it worked on my old 94 Ranger. Hope this helps.
