where is the best place to put a power cable through the firewall for an amp?

if your truck is an auto, put it through the cover plate where the clutch would mount. its right under the master cyclinder

There's a big ol' fat hole in the firewall on the passenger side. Duck down and you'll see it (covered with a solid black grommet, just cut a whole in it and run the wire through). I ran 2 gauge cable through it for my amp. Just make sure to keep that thing covered and secure, you don't need it grounding out on the firewall. Plus it's on the same side as the battery. Well, at least it is on my truck.
