I bought a trailer today but The owner did nor have the brake controller for it and I need to know what type of controller to get and how to hook it up right. Also can you to wile you are in overdrive? 99 psd, auto trans w/ limited slip rear, 4x4. Bob.
There are several informative threads about this subject in the Towing forum. I had to ask the same type questions for mine. I wound up buying the Tekonsha Prodigy and am very happy with it so far. There are more expensive set-ups that might be better, like the Brakesmart, but for the money, it's a Prodigy for me.........
