hello my name is michael and i just got a new king ranch super crew f150 its a great truck but my brakes seems to squick whenever i go to stop the ford dealer said that the pads were glazed over and he then fixed them by de-glazing them. not 2 hours after i get for the ford dealership the start to squick again does anybody else have this problem and if so what should i do about it thanks alot michael
Some squeeking is normal but it shouldn't do it all the time.
Quite often you end up replacing the pads to get rid of a squeek, even though they look to be in good shape. A rust ridge on the rotor can also cause it. The cure for that is to get the rotors resurfaced.
